Pamporovo starts winter season 2024/2025 on
7th December 2024 with a promotional price for the daily lift pass and on Student’s Day, 8th December 2024,
at 25 BGN for children and 40 BGN for all others
Each year, Pamporovo establishes itself as a preferred winter destination, and the 2024/2025 season will be no exception. The official season opening will take place on 7th December at 10:30 a.m. at Ski Center 3, Studenets, attended by the Minister of Tourism, the mayors of Smolyan and Chepelare, and other officials representing local and state authorities. A DJ with an energizing playlist will contribute to the festive atmosphere and mood throughout the day, and a special treasure hunt game is planned in the ski area. Prizes include five 3-day passes and other interesting items. Participation conditions will be published on the resort’s official website, www.pamporovo.me, as well as on Pamporovo’s official Facebook and Instagram profiles.
For the first two days, 7th and 8th December, lift passes for Pamporovo ski area will cost 25 BGN per day for children up to 12 years old and 40 BGN for all others. The price for a round-trip ticket for a single lift will be 15 BGN for children and 25 BGN for youth and adults. During the same period, a ski package with a lift pass and equipment will be available at a special price of 35 BGN for children and 55 BGN for others.
At midnight on 8th December 2024, the sales period for the “Select” lift pass will end. This pass allows users to choose their usage period. It is valid for the respective number of consecutive days for which it is purchased and activates upon the first passage through one of the resort’s lift and drag lift turnstiles. The price of a single-day “Select” pass is 92 BGN for adults, 78 BGN for youth (ages 12–22), and 55 BGN for children.
From 9th December, only lift passes with fixed usage dates will be available for purchase. Between 9th and 20th December 2024 inclusive, single-day lift passes will be sold at promotional prices of 82 BGN per day for adults, 69 BGN for youth, and 49 BGN for children. From 21st December 2024, standard winter season prices will apply: 98 BGN per day for adults, 83 BGN for youth, and 59 BGN for children.
Student’s Day
For Student’s Day on 7th and 8th December, evening parties with exciting guest performers and a unique musical atmosphere are organized in the large “Rhodopi” hall, part of the conference center of the five-star “Perelik” hotel. DJs have been selected for the two evenings: on 7th December, Bilyanish and Adam will perform, while on 8th December, GIA, Donika, DJ Damyan, and Yavorcho will take the stage.

Pamporovo Ski Area
The Pamporovo ski area will once again provide a unique winter experience for the whole family, combining training, entertainment, and safety. Additionally, this winter, passes for the Pamporovo ski area will also grant access to the Mechi Chal ski area when it is open, a fantastic bonus for those seeking diverse ski adventures and a variety of slopes. For adrenaline seekers, the season will feature the reopening of the Fun Park on the Southern slopes, with three different courses for beginners, advanced skiers, and professionals, along with a fixed lift serving the slope to the Smolyan Lakes.
From 21st December 2024, the newly renovated children’s ski garden in the ski equipment building at Ski Center 2 – Malina will open its doors. Designed for children aged 4 to 7 years, half-day and full-day programs include a variety of indoor and outdoor games, basic ski skills training, sledding, and use of the children’s ski area near the building. Full-day activities include lunch, with children transported to the restaurant at the Perelik hotel.
Continuing the tradition started in the 2023/2024 season, unique outdoor parties will be held every Saturday at the Studenets ski center plaza, featuring renowned DJs from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, and Turkey.
To ensure the safety of skiers and snowboarders, Pamporovo plans to install additional nets along the slopes and numerous new surveillance cameras throughout the ski area. The ski patrol and police will be available at all times to guarantee the peace and security of visitors.

From the beginning of the active winter season, Pamporovo AD will offer accommodation at the secluded boutique Villa Arfa 5*, without requiring guests to book the entire villa.
