The Creation of the Wonderful Bridges

The legend of the Wonderful Bridges tells the story of the creation of these mysterious natural formations. Many years ago, in the region of the village of Zabardo, there lived numerous shepherds. One day, a dragon appeared out of nowhere and began to devastate their flocks. For years, the shepherds suffered from the dragon's attacks.
Eventually, they devised a clever plan to rid themselves of the creature. They loaded a donkey with tinder — a dry substance used for lighting fires — and ignited it. They then sent the donkey towards the dragon. The dragon swallowed the donkey along with the tinder, which gradually began to burn inside it. Driven mad with pain, the dragon tried to escape and eventually found a small hole in the ground where it hid.
After many years, when the dragon’s bones had decayed, only the massive arched bridges remained. Thus, according to the legend, the Wonderful Bridges were created.
