TOUR “ORPHEUS ROCKS”
An adventurous tour that takes us to one of the most legendary places in the Rhodopes – Orpheus Rocks. We begin from the Tourist Information Centre in Pamporovo and embark on an aerial journey using chairlifts No. 1 and No. 2. As we ascend above the dense evergreen forests, breathtaking views of the peaks and valleys of the Rhodopes unfold before us.
Once we reach Snezhanka Peak (1960 metres above sea level), our hiking adventure begins. We follow a well-marked forest trail towards one of the most impressive natural landmarks in the area – Orpheus Rocks (1875 metres above sea level). According to legend, it was here that the great Orpheus played his harp, enchanting nature and the birds with his magical music.
Our route continues with a descent along a scenic forest path, leading us to the area of Yazovira. Here, at 1750 metres above sea level, we reach Snezhanka Lake – a peaceful and beautiful spot where nature meets adventure. At the Adventure Park Yazovira, you’ll find a rope garden, ninja courses, and an airbag – perfect entertainment for thrill-seekers. For those who prefer tranquillity, the lake offers the opportunity for sport fishing of Balkan trout.
Our journey ends with a passage through Studenetz and a return to the Tourist Information Centre where the next adventure awaits!
