360 degrees walking tour
Embark on a captivating journey through the most renowned and picturesque landmarks of the resort, offering a chance to take your first steps in Nordic Walking (optional).
Route: We begin at the Tourist Information Center in Pamporovo and follow a forest trail that winds through both broadleaf and coniferous woods, leading us to the Studenetz area (1675 m above sea level). This is a key crossroads in the resort, where the routes to Snezhanka Peak begin and where all the tracks of the Pamporovo bike park finish.
Our journey continues to the Yazovira area and the beautiful Snezhanka Lake (1750 m above sea level) – a peaceful and picturesque spot, perfect for relaxing in nature. Here, you’ll find the Yazovira Adventure Park, offering a variety of attractions – a rope garden, a ninja course, an air cushion, and sports fishing for Balkan trout.
Next, we head to one of the most stunning natural landmarks in the region – the Orpheus Rocks (1875 m above sea level). The panoramic view from here is truly spectacular – Smolyan, the Smolyan Lakes, Perelik Peak, and even parts of Northern Greece stretch out before you. According to legend, after failing to save Eurydice, Orpheus spent his days on these rocks, playing his harp, and his music enchanted anyone who heard it.
After about 30 minutes, we reach Eagle Peak (1784 m above sea level), and the final stop on our route is the highest point in the region – Snezhanka Peak (1960 m above sea level). Here, you’ll find a 156-meter-tall TV tower, and from its panoramic terrace, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable 360-degree view of the Rhodopes. On clear days, the horizon extends all the way to the Aegean Sea, making for a truly awe-inspiring natural experience.
